Welcome to the Wallingford Farmer's Market

The Seattle Farmers Market Association introduced a new Farmers Market in the heart of Wallingford in 2006, in the parking lot of the historic Wallingford Center. The product of much behind the scenes work by the Wallingford Chamber and local community activists, the dream became possible when the Wallingford Center partnered to provide a location and necessary ammenities. The Farmers Market will take its place amongst the vibrant culture of many other beautiful shops, bistros and fascinating enterprises to help create a colorful new weekly community tradition for people enjoy. To find out what's in store this season click on "Whats in Season".

As the season progresses neighbors will find a selection of just-picked natural fruits and vegetables from Washington farms and orchards, as well as "wild- craftings" — honeys, jams, jellies, mushrooms, sauces, spices and herbs. There are also specialty cheeses, pasture-finished, hormone-free meats- pork, lamb, and beef, wild fish, free range eggs and dazzling arrays of flowers rustic breads and pasteries. In addition to produce we offer a small number of select craftsmen and designers which offer garden art, jewelry, hand-made soaps, photography and artwork. The market starts small and grows with the arc of the produce season to around forty plus vendors in all.

Cooking demonstrations by top local chefs and events are planned and we'll feature live music as often as possible. Volunteer organizers for music and food events are encouraged to contact us, it's a team effort. Help spread the word to your friends and enjoy the convenience of your own local fresh market.
Look forward to meeting you, —Judy, Candace and Jon

We gratefully acknowledge the Wallingford Chamber of Commerce, Wallingford Center and our merchant neighbors and customers in Wallingford whose support makes this market possible.
